Iraq Crisis: New sources

Colin I. Rowat from the UK-based "Cambridge Campaign Against Sanctions on Iraq" (CASI) has produced a very recommendable 40 page briefing document named "Starving Iraq: One humanitarian disaster we can stop". You can download it (it's a MS Word 6 file) from: http://www.cus.cam.ac.uk/~cir20/pamp_ed1.doc

In addition, the author writes: "As I would like this to be revised and properly vetted I'd appreciate any comments on it. Please write "Pamphlet comments" in the Subject heading." !!! mailto < >

WILPF Petition: Health risks of nuclear energy

The Women's International League for Peace and Freedom (WILPF) has launched this petition which basically demands to amend the Agreement between the International Atomic Energy Agency and the World Health Organization (Res. WHA12-40, 28.5.59), because "This outdated agreement has prevented WHO from being able to act fully and effectively to protect populations from the risks of nuclear technology", as WILPF assesses it in the Petition.
